Hey y’all, it’s been a few days and I just wanted to give a brief update on our lives!
It’s been fairly busy getting back into the groove of things. Rachel cleared occupational health, had orientation, and starts her first job as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist on Monday!
My hospital is preparing for the impending covid-19 cases that will surely show on our front door by having a team of 30 nurses care for anyone with the virus on a volunteer basis. I’ve signed up to be one of these nurses. As needed, the hospital will pull me to work within a special unit in special scrubs/protective equipment. I will be able to go home each night with no quarantine required due to the level of protective equipment.
Rachel and I are still perfectly healthy, and are doing well adjusting to life.
In other news, our AC went out tonight! Time to get the freon!
We will post new articles tomorrow, as I’m off 4 out of the next 5 days.

Hope you both stay safe and healthy! Thank you both for taking care of those in need. What sweet souls.
Still thinking of y’all – it’s now spreading throughout the US as you surely know. I hope you and everyone reading this blog are healthy.
So some general questions, are you afraid of catching this now after all you have gone through? Any advice for the many who are now home for. Two or more weeks in the house be it quarantined or self hibernating?
